The P-Bruins didn’t open the 2012-13 season like they had envisioned as they dropped games to Manchester and Bridgeport. However, the team is heading into their second weekend of play looking to bounce back. “As a team, we’re not satisfied with the result we had this weekend, but we understood that we played pretty well Saturday night. Unfortunately bounces didn’t go our way,” said defenseman Torey Krug. “We came out to practice business like as usual and we’ve been working on transitioning the puck up and down the ice and we’re going to continue to get better.”
The P-Bruins are headed to Manchester tonight for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop at the Verizon Wireless Center. The club closes out the weekend on Saturday in Springfield in a 7:00 p.m. tilt with the Falcons.
